Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on December 4, 2025, at around 8:35 p.m., officers responded to the area of 2nd Street and Willetta Street regarding a shooting call. When officers arrived, they found an adult male, identified as 39-year-old Jessie Johnson, with at least one gunshot wound. Johnson was transported to a nearby hospital but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
