A total of three teenagers have been arrested for another teen’s murder in north Phoenix back in October.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on October 14, 2025, at around 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the area of 12th Street and Bell Road regarding a shots fired. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a juvenile male later identified as Marki Terril Anthony suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Marki to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
Detectives were able to determine that an attempted robbery resulted in the in an exchange of gunfire in which Marki was struck and killed.
On January 23rd, 18-year-old Demarius Shaw, 18-year-old David Brunt, and 19-year-old Raul Clavel were located and arrested. Demarius, David, and Raul were all booked on one count of first-degree murder.
