A woman is dead after a dispute with a neighbor turned deadly.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on March 23, 2026, at around 8:05 a.m., officers responded to the area of 11th Avenue and Mountain View Road regarding a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female, later identified as 35-year-old Danielle Jean Kassandra Little, with a gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Little to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. During the initial response by officers, they located an adult male, later identified as 21-year-old Daniel Rombach Jr., and took him into custody without incident.
Detectives believe that Little and Rombach Jr., were neighbors and were in a verbal argument when Rombach Jr., shot Little.
Rombach Jr. was transported to Phoenix Police Headquarters to be interviewed and was later booked into jail on murder charges stemming from this incident.
