AZ SOS Hobbs Raises Doubts About Fairness, Called Trump Supporters “Neo-Nazis”

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs

Arizonans are questioning the ability of Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs to stay unbiased in an election after an inflammatory tweet was circulated on social media platforms. In Hobbs’ tweet, shared by Ambassador Richard Grenell, she called President Trump’s supporters neo-Nazis.

Hobbs tweeted:

“@realDonaldTrump has made it abundantly clear he’s more interested in pandering to his neo-nazi base than being @POTUS for all Americans.”

Former Arizona State Rep. Steve Montenegro responded:

@SteveMontenegro
Here in AZ, our chief elections officer thinks half the voters in her state are Nazis. What could possibly go wrong?

Republican political consultant Constantin Querard responded to Montenegro:

@CQuerard
@SteveMontenegro
Trying 2 get a grip on Hobbs’ casual smears given Trump’s increased success w/minority voters. Is she talking about African American Nazis, Hispanic Nazis, Asian Nazis, etc as well as the rarer still Jewish Nazis? I’m guessing she just thinks everyone on the other side is a Nazi.

Arizona elected officials joined Montenegro is questioning the propriety of Hobbs’ comment.

“Given the clear bias of Ms. Hobbs and the conflicting instructions to Pima County voters regarding felt tip pens, it would be irresponsible not to do a complete recount and audit of the votes in Arizona,” stated Pima County Board of Supervisor Ally Miller.

“For many years I have served with Katie Hobbs in the state legislature, she is a passionate far left liberal, I do not have confidence in her ability as State of Secretary to be unbiased during this very important election,” stated State Rep. Bob Thorpe.
