Colorado Man Killed On Yuma Railroad Tracks

YUMA – A Colorado man was killed along a railroad track in Yuma on Saturday.

According to the Yuma Sheriff’s office, on October 31, 2020 at approximately 8:59 AM, it received a report of a person struck by a train in the 7100 block of S. Highway 95.

The investigation into the matter found that Jerry Moore Jr, 58, of Colorado Springs, CO, was walking along the railroad tracks while a train was travelling northbound. Mr. Moore was unable to move off of the tracks in time and was struck by the train, sustaining fatal injuries.
