Facing A Challenge, Arizona House Minority Leader Stepping Aside

PHOENIX — In the face of what was expected to be yet another loss, Arizona House Minority Leader Rep. Charlene Fernandez announced in a tweet that she is stepping aside prior to leadership elections planned for Tuesday.

Fernandez, who has lost the support of her caucus, has thrown her support to Rep. Reginald Bolding.

She was facing a challenge from Rep. Diego Espinoza.
