PHOENIX – Several national news outlets have called the presidential race for former Vice President Joe Biden, who they project to become the 46th president of the United States. At the same time, Biden’s lead has narrowed in Arizona as the vote count here continues.

The Associated Press called the race for former Vice President Biden Saturday morning. CNN and Fox News also named him the projected winner.

The call was made after the AP called Pennsylvania for the former vice president and his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris despite expected litigation from the Trump 2020 campaign.
