Republicans sent prayers, while democrats hurled epithets and shared false information upon hearing the news that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19.
The President tweeted the news Thursday night. President Trump’s announcement came just hours after the White House announced that senior aide Hope Hicks came down with the virus after traveling with the president several times this week.
