Trump Narrows Biden Lead, Gosar Calls For Investigation Of Election Software

UPDATE: Narrowing continues - statewide now 20,484 margin for Biden

On Friday as President Donald Trump narrowed former Vice President Joe Biden’s lead in Arizona, Rep. Paul Gosar called for an investigation of the state’s election software.

An issue with the vote-counting software used in Arizona arose in Michigan when it undercut Trump’s number of votes.

According to FOX News, “Michigan GOP Chairwoman Laura Cox said at a Friday press conference that “in Antrim County, ballots were counted for Democrats that were meant for Republicans, causing a 6,000 vote swing against our candidates. The county clerk came forward and said, ‘tabulating software (Dominion) glitched and caused a miscalculation of the votes.’”

Secretary of State Katie Hobbs was quick to admonish Rep. Gosar for “undermining the public’s faith in our elections the way you are.” She called his behavior “irresponsible” without offering any proof as to why she believed that was the case.

On Friday morning, Trump supporters congregated in the free speech area set up in front of the Maricopa elections center for the Protect the Vote Rally organized by Turning Point Action, a conservative youth outreach organization.

There remains 173,000 votes left to be counted in Arizona, including provisional ballots.

Due to the controversies surrounding whether Election Day voters’ votes were properly processed in Maricopa County, voters can now check on those ballots here.
