Phoenix opens Business and Workforce Development Center

The city of Phoenix this week opened the Phoenix Business and Workforce Development Center at 302 N. First Ave.

The 12,500-square-foot center with classroom-style training rooms and a computer lab will be a primary resource for businesses to locate, expand and grow in the city of Phoenix.

Phoenix integrated Economic Development and Workforce Development programs to provide high-value added services including talent acquisition, training and development, and business solutions.

The staff at the center will provide job postings on azjobconnection.gov; screen candidates and review resumes; organize hiring events; create partnerships with educational and program resources; customize workshops and assessments for job seekers; offer employer seminars and workshops; share links to economic development resources and coordinate space for business and workforce development events at no cost to businesses.
