  1. It is so very sad of the lost of 19 Hot Shot fire fighters. As a mother of a former Fire Fighter I feared for my son’s life each and every time he went out to fight fires, but he was always ready to go, to be there with the crew was important to him. These dedicated 19 men know what they do is dangerous but yet they have this unexplainable desire to serve and protect people and things in the path of a fire. I know that the 19 Hot Shot Men, the Best of the Best did a job they loved, even if it meant their lives. My prayers are for their love ones, and we must always be mindful of those that put their lives up front for the benefit of others by praying for their safety.
