Marijuana Harmless? The Science and the Experiment

marijuana-tucsonOn Tuesday, November 18th, Marijuana Harmless? Think Again! will host a conference titled: “Marijuana: The Science and the Experiment” in Phoenix, Arizona.

Experts in the field of the drug marijuana will address the conference. Keynote speaker, Tom Gorman, Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, will share details of the experiment taking place in Colorado with the legalization of marijuana. Neuroscientist Dr. Stephen Dewey will describe the scientific aspects of brain changes and addiction that are caused by the drug. Also, Sally Schindel will tell her personal story of how marijuana addiction impacted her son.

The conference will also include panel discussions, plus question and answer periods, both of which will be hosted by conference speakers and other experts in the field. The conference is being sponsored by nine organizations including, MATFORCE of Yavapai County.

The conference will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix, 2532 W. Peoria Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. Registration for a full day is $50 and includes lunch. Half day registration is $25.
