The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the identity of the victim killed this week as a pedestrian in an apparent hit and run collision with a vehicle. She is Joyce Erickson, 70, a resident of the Prescott County Club community.
YCSO detectives have received several tips through Yavapai Silent Witness and detectives continue to encourage anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Office at 928-771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1800-932-3232. Detectives are also working leads developed at the scene which includes interviews with those who reside or have business in the area where the collision occurred.
Detectives are imploring the driver of the vehicle involved to contact them immediately as they “are truly interested in any explanation offered which would aid in understanding the circumstances leading to Erickson’s death.”
