Cochise County Teen Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Girls

On Sunday May 24, 2015 at approximately 12:30 am, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call from a 13 year old female who advised that she was just assaulted.

The juvenile advised that she was at her residence in Double Adobe, northeast of Bisbee, when she was forced to have sexual contact with a 14 year old female while 19 year old Anthony Quinzer watched. The 13 year old advised that Quinzer had possession of a knife and threatened both girls with bodily harm if they did not comply.

The 13 year old advised that Quinzer was at her residence with the 14 year old after they travelled from Evansville Indiana to stay here with an extended family member.

The 13 year old advised that the 14 year old was also sexually assaulted by Quinzer several times before the 13 year old ran from the recreational vehicle they were in and notified family members. The 13 year old advised that as soon as the family members were advised and were making contact with Quinzer, she called for help.

Upon Deputies arrival, they discovered that the 14 year old female was reportedly a ward of the state of Indiana and a runaway. Quinzer was also from Indiana and he was responsible for getting the 14 year old out of the state and to Arizona.

Quinzer was arrested and booked into the Cochise County Jail on multiple charges to include Sexual Assault, Threatening and Intimidating, Indecent Exposure, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

Both female juveniles were transported to a Tucson hospital for examination and evaluation before being placed at other locations. The 14 year old female is scheduled to return to Indiana this week, while the 13 year old is with other family members pending the conclusion of the investigation.
