Stolen Tucson Church, Synagogue Property Recovered

The Tucson Police Department Burglary Unit began an investigation into thefts from local churches and synagogues back in March of this year. Mr. Andrew Hoke and Ms. Bridget Baker were arrested on various felonies related to those incidents and remain in the Pima County Jail.

The detectives continued the investigation to locate and return the stolen property to the rightful owners. They learned additional information that linked Mr. Hoke and Ms. Baker to a residence outside of Tucson.

Today, the detectives served a search warrant in Santa Cruz County and were able to recover several rosaries, cups and other property. The detectives are in the process of returning the items to the churches and synagogues.

Additional property may still be outstanding. Anyone with additional information is asked to call 88-CRIME.
