TUSD Holding Teacher Job Fair Friday

Teachers are invited to attend Tucson Unified School District’s job fair on Friday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Catalina High School, 3645 E. Pima Street.

The district welcomes applicants for all grades and subject areas and will be hiring qualified teachers on site.

“Tucson Unified is looking for teachers who want to make a difference in our community and join a great team of professionals doing good work,” said Janet Rico Uhrig, director of talent acquisition for the district.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organization that offers full-time employees a suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, critical illness, short-term disability and employer-paid basic life insurance, EAP and state retirement.

TUSD is also hiring non-certified staff for the Infant & Early Learning Centers at Brichta and Schumaker. These are part-time positions with flexible hours.

“We are hoping to hire fun, enthusiastic, flexible people that love children,” said Rachell Hochheim, Director of Community Schools and Preschool programs.
