Tucson bus service will operation again starting Thursday, September 17 . Sun Tran officials and Teamsters Local 104 have settled a new 2 year contract.
Union members ratified the contract Wednesday evening.
Tucson City Councilwoman Regina Romero stated in a press release, “This strike has devastated the Tucson community and very likely has done irreparable damage to Tucson’s transit system. The strike has also devalued the investments this Mayor & Council has made in transit.”
Passengers are asked to please use schedules in the Ride Guide valid through February 2016, available on buses, online and at approximately 300 locations, such as public libraries, major malls and pass sales outlets throughout Tucson.
