A farmers market featuring fresh and locally grown produce will be held in Historic Avondale, at the Care 1st Resource Center every 3rd Saturday of the month.
The Historic Avondale Farmers’ Market is an open-air gathering place offering fresh, locally-grown produce and agricultural based products. This market will operate rain or shine on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through May.
The Avondale Farmers’ Market will provide residents fresh food from the farm. In addition to an array of affordable and fresh food and seasonal produce, the market will feature special events such as gardening workshops, nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts, family oriented activities and more. Event coordinators are seeking vendors and community groups to participate; crafters, businesses and other groups are invited to take part in these monthly events.
