Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Sierra Vista Home Invasion

On Saturday May 14, 2016 at approximately 3:30 am, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a struture fire on East Double B Ranch Road south of Sierra Vista.

Upon Deputies arrival, they met with the home owner who advised that he was at his residence when two men kicked in the front door. The homeowner stated that one of the men was armed with what appeared to be an assault rifle.

The victim advised that the suspects began beating him with a chain. The victim stated that he was taken outside and told to get on his knees and the two suspects fled the area as they allegedly set the victim’s home on fire.

The victim refused medical transport and did not appear to suffer serious injury. Fry Fire arrived on scene with deputies and attempted to extinguish the fire but the home was a total loss.

The suspects in this case are identified as a thin-build Hispanic male and a heavy-set Hispanic male, both wearing dress clothes.
