The Racetrack Fire is burning in the Redington Pass area. The fire started just before 2 p.m. on Sunday has spread to 800 acres.

The fire is burning grass and brush on Coronado National Forest, influenced by outflow wind from nearby cells.

Firefighters are attempting full suppression.
