Antenori Convicted Of Trespassing

Former Arizona State Senator Frank Antenori was convicted of trespassing on federal land according to the Arizona Republic. The Arizona Republic reports that Antenori “pleaded guilty last month to illegally accessing military property.”

Antenori, who after losing his Senate seat ran a failed campaign against Medicaid expansion in Arizona, has sought notoriety and regain relevance as a delegate at the Republican National Convention.

According to the Arizona Republic report, Antenori was “charged in January with illegally hunting on Fort Huachuca property in southern Arizona. On June 20, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of illegally accessing the military-base land.”

Antenori crept into the news earlier this month when he endorsed Pima County Board of Supervisors candidate Steve Christy.
