On February 14, 2017 around 7:15 a.m. the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call stating a head on collision occurred on the west bound lane of the frontage road of Interstate 10 close to mile post 216, which is in the Picacho area.
PCSO Vehicular Crimes Unit responded and observed at least one subject needing extrication. Both subjects were airlifted to trauma centers and one is listed in critical condition.
