UPDATE: Fred Bair, a captain with the Tucson Fire Dept., has been identified as the the suspect from last night’s deadly shooting at La Encantada Mall. The 60-year-old Bair was the lone shooter in last night’s incident which left two men dead, including Mr. Bair himself. Bair’s ex-wife is being identified as the female injured as a result of the shooting.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night at Firebirds Restaurant in La Encantada Mall.
Preliminary reports indicate that a man shot a couple having dinner and then turned the gun on himself. It is believed that the shooting was the result of a love triangle. Both men are deceased.
The woman is undergoing surgery as a result of a gunshot wound to her leg.
