On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Advanced Vision located at 7552 North La Cholla Boulevard for a report of a theft. When deputies arrived, they discovered multiple high-dollar pairs of sunglasses had been taken by a male suspect.
After speaking with witnesses and reviewing video surveillance, deputies determined the suspect selected several pairs of sunglasses and exited the store without paying. A witness saw the man run to a tan vehicle before leaving the area.
The suspect is described as:
• Hispanic, appearing to be in his 30s, short dark hair, and facial hair
• Average height and build
• Last seen wearing a black Oakland Raiders hat, black t-shirt, black pants, and black shoes
Detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
