American Red Cross Opens Two Shelters in Response to the Sawmill Fire

The Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross has opened two shelters in response to the Sawmill Fire.

The first shelter was opened at 9:30 PM Monday (4/24) at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. There were 5 persons who stayed overnight in the shelter.

The second shelter located at the SE Regional Park Shooting Range at 11296 S. Harrison Road (North and West of the Pima County Fairgrounds) was opened Tuesday morning due to evacuations from the Hilton Ranch area.

The Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross will provide food, water, a respite from the weather and overnight lodging as needed.
