Border Patrol Hosts Girl Scouts At Camp Fury

Tucson Sector Border Patrol hosted Camp Fury sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona today, giving them insights into law enforcement tactics, crime scene analysis, evidence collection and physical fitness.

Approximately 34 girls participated in a unique camp experience designed for adventure and career exploration as they participated in fire and police activities. Their experience included learning about firearms, fingerprinting, evidence collecting and crime scene photography, as well as law enforcement tactics.

“Not only does Camp Fury enlighten these young women on non-traditional career paths, it also gives local law enforcement and firefighters an opportunity to learn from each other while building strong relationships,” said Special Operations Supervisor Bobbi Schad. “Tucson Sector Border Patrol wants to continue building strong relationships within the community and encourages everyone to help the community grow stronger.”
