Identity Of LaCanada Robber Sought

Subway Robbery Suspect

On Wednesday, May 31, 2017, just after 8:30 p.m., Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Subway located at 5095 North La Canada Drive for a report of a robbery.

Deputies discovered that a male suspect entered the store and told the Subway employee he had a gun and to give him the money from the register.

Once the suspect received the cash from the register, he exited the store and entered a red-colored sedan as the passenger.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian, in his mid-to-late 30s
  • Approximately 5’5” to 5’8” tall, 160-180 pounds, with short dark hair and a goatee
  • Last seen wearing a black baseball hat, red pullover sweatshirt, and blue jeans

Robbery Assault detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
