No Circle K Money For This Robber

On May 26, 2017, at approximately 6:00 pm, Pima County deputies responded to the Circle K located at 3102 East Benson Highway for a report of an armed robbery.

Deputies learned a man demanded money from the cash register. The clerk told the suspect there was no money. The man lifted his shirt and showed the clerk a hand gun in his waist band. The clerk told the suspect, a second time, there was no money in the cash register.

The suspect then fled through the front door. The case has been assigned to Robbery detectives who were able to obtain surveillance video.

They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. The suspect is described as:

  • Hispanic male
  • 20 to 30-years-old, approximately 5’9” in height with a medium build
  • He was last seen wearing a black and white hat, glasses, white shirt, gray undershirt, and pants.
  • He is armed with a handgun

Officials request that you do not approach the suspect, he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
