US 180 remains closed in both directions northwest of Flagstaff because of the Boundary Fire, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The closure is between mileposts 236 and 248.
The closure blocks the most direct route between Flagstaff and Valle. Drivers can use Interstate 40 and State Route 64 as alternate routes between those communities.
There is no estimated time to reopen US 180.
