Where Was Policing In America Going?

By P.J. O’Malley

Without their realizing it, Americans are being manipulated into believing a national police is the answer to our many woes.

In far too many jurisdictions we’re seeing the federal government arming, conditioning and training local jurisdictions to knuckle under federal standards. Needless to say, when they dangle riot gear and armaments and “free” training, plus helicopters and even tanks, in front of cash-strapped cities, there are always strings attached. (A good example might be right there in your state. One third of all state budgets is now paid for with federal dollars! State leaderships cannot say “No” to anything the government would demand.)

You don’t need to be reminded that we don’t need anything remotely like Nazi Germany, with their Gestapo, or the horrors of the USSR, all happening after they nationalized their police. But that’s what’s in store if we don’t put a stop to it.

So, many of us have joined together to wake the town and tell the people: there is a deliberate strategy going on here. It’s simply to bring all police —slowly but surely — under a national umbrella, without your noticing it. Our counter-message is: “Support Your Local Police, and keep them independent.”

One of the tactics used is to foment riots and looting in local communities, like they’ve done in Ferguson, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Charlotte. Then, when the local police are temporarily overwhelmed, the citizens cry out “Somebody, please help us,” and the feds step right in, meaning Big Dollars and Big Controls are on their way. This is happening right now.

So, do yourself the favor of becoming informed on this critical issue. Review an expose of the problem in this hard-hitting journal: The New American. If you do you’ll be able to understand better that we really do have a police crisis looming in America.
