Phoenix Police Hope To Identify Killer Of Sleeping Man Outside 7-11

On Thursday, June 29, 2017 at approximately 3:50 a.m., a man obtained a cup of water from the 7-Eleven at 1850 West Glendale Ave and dumped it on a man’s head while he was sleeping in front of the store. The suspect then kicked and beat the victim.

The suspect ran away and the victim later died at the hospital. The suspect is described as a male between 5’8” and 5’10,” wearing a black hoodie, white headband, white shoes, and a red backpack.

According to police he appears to be around 17 to 20 years old.

The Phoenix Police are asking anyone with info to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or for Spanish 480-TESTIGO. Callers can remain anonymous and could earn them reward up to $1000.
