On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, just before 10:30 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Circle K located at 5818 South Palo Verde Road for a report of an armed robbery. When deputies arrived, they learned a male suspect entered the store and asked the clerk for cigarettes. While the clerk was grabbing the cigarettes, the suspect pulled out a small knife and demanded money from the register.
The clerk placed the money and cigarettes into a bag and handed them to the suspect. The suspect then exited the store and left the area on foot.
The suspect is described as:
• Native American, in his late 20s, with dark hair and a thin mustache
• Approximately 5’6” to 5’7” in height, with a thin build
• Last seen wearing a black baseball hat, eyeglasses, and all black clothing
