Mesa Senior Care Facility Worker Indicted For Theft, Bought Opioids

A State Grand Jury indicted 24-year-old Arthur Michael Sesate for allegedly stealing jewelry from 7 seniors at an assisted living facility in Mesa.

In January 2017, a resident of the Fellowship Square Senior Living Facility discovered her diamond engagement ring was missing and notified management. It was soon discovered that at least 7 residents at the facility were also missing jewelry from their individual apartments. Sesate worked at the facility as a maintenance man and was provided a master key that allowed him to enter into the apartments.

It is alleged that he entered the resident’s apartments when they were not home, stole jewelry from them, and then pawned the jewelry at local pawn shops so that he could get money to buy opioids.

Sesate is charged with 7 counts of Burglary, 3 counts of Trafficking in Stolen Property, 2 counts of Forgery, and multiple counts of Theft.
