A Felony Arrest Warrant Obtained For Suspect In Tyndall Homicide

Suspect is driving the victim's black 2001 Honda Civic coupe bearing Arizona license plate BXH5934.

Detectives have obtained a felony arrest warrant for Mario Jesus Dorame for 1st Degree Murder in the South Tyndall death of  Maria Escobedo.

The detectives from the Tucson Police Department Homicide Unit have continued the investigation into the homicide of 52-year-old Maria Escobedo. They have identified the male Ms. Escobedo had a relationship with and who was not located at the scene as 43-year-old Mario Jesus Dorame. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’9″, 185 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

They also learned Ms. Escobedo’s vehicle was missing from the scene. The vehicle is described as a black 2001 Honda Civic coupe bearing Arizona license plate BXH5934. The vehicle hood and roof are faded, there are small dents on the right front fender and the windows are tinted.

If you see Mr. Dorame or the vehicle, DO NOT APPROACH and call 911 immediately. Mr. Dorame should be considered armed and dangerous.
