Yuma Agents Recover Stolen Motorcycle

Yuma agents recovered a stolen motorcycle after catching the person who stole it

Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended a 24-year-old Yuma man riding a stolen motorcycle Friday evening after he failed to yield to agents during a traffic stop.

Agents patrolling near the U.S./Mexico border and Avenue F attempted to stop the rider, but the rider failed to yield and fled into a lettuce field before abandoning the motorcycle. Agents continued to pursue the man on foot before finally apprehending him. Records checks conducted on the motorcycle revealed it had been reported stolen the day before.

Agents later turned the man and motorcycle over to the Yuma Police Department.
