On August 23, 2006, 20-year-old Bradley Eaton was shot and killed inside his home at 2711 West Shannon Drive. Shortly after Bradley’s murder, three suspects were identified; 18-year-old Joseph Woodard, 17-year-old Sergio Acosta, and 20-year-old Juan Acosta.

Joseph and Sergio were arrested and convicted for their role in Bradley’s murder. But, Juan has yet to be apprehended.

While Juan has family in Phoenix, investigators believe Juan fled to Mexico immediately after the murder. In 2009, detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging Juan with one count of 1st Degree Murder, one count of 1st Degree Burglary, and one count of 1st Degree Robbery. With the help of the U.S. Marshal’s Office, the Mexican government validated Juan’s arrest warrant in 2015.

Juan, who also goes by the name Juan Acosta-Wong, is now 31-years-old.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Juan Acosta, please contact the Chandler Police Department at (480) 782-4130 or Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS (948-6377). Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of Juan Acosta.
