[Update] Arrest Made In 3rd Street Homicide

Tucson Police Department detectives were able to determine that 37-year-old Lamont Adams was responsible for the shooting death of 38-year-old Carlos Simmons.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Adams and on December 1, 2017, he was located at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of East Roger Road. With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Tucson Police Officers with Operations Division West, Adams was taken into custody without incident.

He was booked into Pima County Jail on his felony warrant for First Degree Murder.
