Border Patrol is inviting community members to join them on their first southeastern Arizona “Coffee with a Cop” event on January 10, 2018. The event is set to run from 8 to 10 a.m., at Brews Brothers Coffee Shop, located at 4023 E Ramsey Rd in Sierra Vista.

The event is intended to give attendees a chance to ask questions and discuss issues of concern with U.S. Border Patrol agents as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen lines of communication in Border Communities.

“Coffee with a Cop” is a national campaign started in 2011 as a way for law enforcement to interact with the citizens they serve. According to Border Patrol, these informal gatherings help build trust between law enforcement and community stakeholders.
