On February 13, Scottsdale Unified School District community groups will hold a district-wide rally to call for the immediate termination of SUSD Superintendent Denise Birdwell. The protest will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the northeastern perimeter of the Coronado High School campus near the intersection of E. Virginia Avenue and Miller Road.

Concerned organizers allege that SUSD’s management, currently under investigation by the Arizona Attorney General’s office, has failed teachers, staff and students, mismanaged millions of dollars in taxpayer money and put the future of their local public schools at risk.

Comprised of ACT Now SUSD, Arizona Education Association, Respect Our Scottsdale Students (ROSS), Scottsdale Parent Council, Scottsdale Education Association and United Scottsdale, organizers encourage teachers, school staff, parents, students and SUSD taxpayers to attend.
