On Monday, the Yuma County Board of Supervisors will choose one of three nominees to replace Rep. Don Shooter. Shooter was expelled by his fellow legislators from the Arizona House of Representatives last week.

Yuma County Republican Party precinct committeemen nominated Paul Brierley, Tim Dunn, and Cora Lee Schingnitz.

Brierley, director of the University of Arizona’s Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture, received the most votes from the precinct committeemen.
