Child Pornography Suspect Stanley Swiacki Arrested By MCSO Cyber Crimes Unit in Phoenix Detectives Look Into The Possibility Of More Victims

Detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit arrested Stanley Swiacki due to a proactive online investigation which began on January 22, 2018 into the potential sexual exploitation of minors. Detectives obtained information about the downloading and sharing of approximately 556 files of known child pornography over the internet.

On March 5, 2018 at 6:30 am, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) detectives executed a search warrant on the residence of Swiacki at 3004 W. Irma Lane Phoenix, AZ. Swiacki has a prior history of allegations against him involving young boys, one in Chino Valley (2011) and the other in Yavapai County

In the 2010 incident, Swiacki allegedly touched a 13-year-old boy on the leg and said sexually inappropriate things when he was at the boy’s residence to conduct air conditioning repair work. The boy was the only person home at the time. In the 2011 incident, Swiacki was arrested after allegedly lying on top of an 8-year-old boy in a playground slide / tube and touching him inappropriately by tickling him. The mother of the boy caught him and yelled at him to stop and he quickly fled the scene driving away in his van with the side door still open. He was later apprehended and charged with Aggravated Assault on a child under 15.

During the initial on scene preview by MCSO forensic technicians at the home, well over 1200 videos and images of potential child abusive material were located on the hard drive of the laptop at the home. Most of these files involved very young boys conducting sex acts with adult males. The initial investigation revealed that these files had been downloaded and shared via his computer over several years dating as far back as 2013. Ten of the videos and images from Stanley’s laptop will be taken to ChildHelp for a Pediatrician to conduct a sexual maturity rating to estimate the age of the child victims involved in this investigation.

Swiacki was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail on 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, which is a Class 2 Felony, a Dangerous Crime against Children. The investigation is ongoing to identify any potential additional victims.
