Serial Pima County Cigarette Thief Sought

Pima County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a serial cigarette thief. On Wednesday, January 31, 2018 deputies responded to the Circle K at 3393 West Orange Grove Road for a report of a theft. Deputies learned a male suspect had entered the store, stuffed multiple cartons of cigarettes into a pillow case, and then left the store on foot.

On Wednesday, February 7, 2018 deputies responded to the Circle K at 2080 West Ruthrauff Road for another report of a theft. During this incident, a male suspect entered the store, went behind the counter, and stuffed multiple cartons of cigarettes into a pillow case. Detectives believe the same suspect from both incidents may also be involved in multiple other incidents.

The suspect is described as:

• African-American male, in his 20s to 30s
• Approximately 5’6” to 6’00” in height, medium build, and short hair
• Uses a pillow case in each of the cigarette thefts
