Pima County Circle K Robber Identity Sought

On Saturday, March 21, 2018, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Pima County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Circle K located at 9810 South Nogales Highway for the report of an armed robbery. When they arrived, deputies learned a male suspect had entered the store and brought an item to the counter. When he got to the counter, he produced a firearm and fired a round into the ceiling before demanding money. After receiving the money, the suspect left in a dark colored vehicle, unknown make and model. The clerk also reported the same suspect had been in the store several hours earlier and had shoplifted cigarettes.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic, in his 20s or 30s, with short brown hair
• Small build with light facial hair
• Last seen wearing an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball hat, a white long sleeved dress shirt, and black pants

Robbery/Assault Unit detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
