Officials in the Murphy Elementary School District are investigating a video being shared on social media that shows a young boy beating a young girl while she sits in her desk. According to Interim Superintendent Brian Borden, the video is under investigation.

According to one Facebook poster, the assault occurred on May 22, 2018, in Ms. Whitlatch’s classroom at Alfred F. Garcia Elementary School.

Superintendent Borden said the District is investigating the matter and would not confirm that the incident occurred at the school.

The District’s website advises that it is “committed to creating a safe and secure environment for our students and staff.”

  1. Hmmm, why am I not surprised? Where was the teacher during this?

Murphy School District could just as well be in Mexico as the vast majority of the seats are filled by children of illegals. Imagine that, liberals have so corrupted public education that it’s not even good enough for the poorest of Mexico.

  3. We want more money!

  4. Seems like in some Arizona school districts the anti-buying procedures is meant to protect the bullies, not the bullied. The Arizona state teachers union leader has been airing a public announcement for months now implying that bullying is our problem, yours and mine, NOT the Schools and teachers who are, by law, in loco parentis of our school children, and are therefore responsible for [rotecting our children against these assaults. The schools and teachers are the ONLY ones in a position to stop this behavior and they must finally be held acountable.

  5. I saw the school’s website. I am appalled by the “safety” slogan! Clearly safety was not their priority in this case. Shame on them!

The boy should be expelled, prosecuted and while he is in juvenile detension get him some counseling. His home life should also be investigated. He learned to hit females from someone. And to the person who made reference to “illegals”…Her mother was not an illegal and neither was she. And even if she was it doesn’t matter. She suffered an assault. NO ONE DESERVES THAT.
