TPD Seeks To Identify Robbery Suspect

On May 24, 2018, around 9:40 p.m., the male approached a female in a parking lot in the 1300 block of N. Craycroft Rd. He pointed a handgun at the female and demanded her vehicle, a gold Toyota Camry. The male fled the area and was not located. The female was not injured.

On May 25, 2018, just after 9:00 a.m., the same male entered the US Bank located at 7685 E. Broadway (Broadway and Pantano area). He approached three different bank employees and pointed a handgun at them while demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank. He was last seen in the gold Toyota Camry carjacked the day before. No one at the bank was injured.

Officers later located the Camry abandoned in the area of E. 22nd St. and S. Turquoise Vista.

The suspect was described as:

  • light-skinned Black male or dark-skinned Hispanic male,
  • late 20’s to late 30’s,
  • 6’0” – 6’2” and 170-200 lbs.
  • He is possibly associated to the pictured white SUV.
