Two Women Killed In Scottsdale Law Firm

Scottsdale Police are investigating the murders of two women on Friday afternoon at a Scottsdale law office. The two women were believed to be employees at the law firm located in Old Town Scottsdale.

Scottsdale Police officers responded to reports of a shooting around 2:15 p.m. in the area of 1st and 75th streets.

One of the women, after being shot in the head, fled the building and flagged down a limo bus driver to call 911. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital where she later died. The body of the second woman was found in the office.

Scottsdale Police believe the murders are related to the shooting of prominent forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Steven Pitt on Thursday.

Dr. Pitt was best known for providing expertise in the JonBenet Ramsey murder and Columbine High School shooting investigations. He was shot outside the Steven Pitt & Associates building in Phoenix.

Police are searching for a suspect.

They described a suspect in the shooting of Pitt as a adult white male, bald and wearing a dark hat with a short brim.
