On Tuesday at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a train collision outside of Truxton. One of the trains had been derailed and the
other received significant damage.
One male victim was deceased upon arrival and another male subject received significant injuries and was evacuated from the scene by DPS Ranger Helicopter.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Nation Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) was notified and are involved in the investigations.
