Tucson Pedestrian Death Investigated As Homicide

On June 30, 2018, just after 7:00 p.m., a passerby driving in the area of South Alvernon Way and South Contractors Way called 911 after locating a pedestrian, 38-year-old Troy Allen, lying in the road. An autopsy was conducted and the medical examiner found signs of trauma that were not consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

Other signs of trauma were found leading investigators to believe this was a homicide. Details are limited at this time, however; it appears Mr. Allen was killed on the evening of June 30, 2018 and then left in the roadway near Alvernon and Contractors Way.

As detectives continue their investigation, they are asking anyone with information about the death of Mr. Allen to call 88-CRIME. As always, you can remain anonymous.
