Family Dollar Strong Armed Robber Sought By Pima County Deputies

Pima County deputies responded to the Family Dollar located at 2820 W. Los Reales Road for the report of a strong arm robbery on Thursday, May 17, 2018, just before 11:00 a.m.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, when deputies arrived, they learned a male suspect had entered the store, picked up a blue bucket, and proceeded to load miscellaneous items into it. The suspect then tried to leave with the items.

When he was stopped at the front door by a cashier he stated, “You need to get out of my way or I’ll hurt you!” The suspect then exited the store and was last seen southbound Cardinal Avenue on foot.

Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male, in his late 20s to mid-30s , 5’7”, medium build, dark brown hair, a mustache and goatee

• Last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a long sleeve blue denim shirt, and blue jeans.
