On Saturday, just before midnight, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of the fatal shooting of 36-year-old John Kimmel at the Centerstone Plaza Hotel on Saguaro Blvd in Fountain Hills.
Mr. Kimmel was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sheriff’s deputies detained Mr. Kimmel’s ex-wife, 27-year-old Jeannette Kimmel.
